Then join this GeoTour! GeoTour is a whole-day field trip sponsored by the University of the Philippines Geology Alumni. The main objective of this tour is to bring participants to places around Metro Manila and its vicinity of Geologic interest such as none other than the famous, West and East Valley Fault Systems (formerly and still currently being called, Marikina Valley Fault); Teresa Marble Quarry Site; Hinulugang Taktak, Antipolo (formed because of the fault system!); Pinto Art Gallery, and more!
Price: 1,500 per pax (already includes transportation service)
When: May 30, 2015 (I’ve been told that if there are more willing participants, the organizers are willing to schedule more tours)
Where: UP National Institute of Geological Sciences (First stop: explore NIGS Museum and see real dinosaur eggs!)
