Van Gogh Alive – finally!

Hello everyone. This is just a short blog about our recent tour in BGC arranged by my husband while I was in China. He knows I love Vincent Van Gogh’s art so much. He is also aware of the Van Gogh art themed merchandise I have collected recently. To say that I love his works is putting it mildly. I’m obsessed. If you want to read about it, please visit this blog post below:

I got so obsessed with Van Gogh at one point in my life (or so many points really) that I wrote this article in dedication of the great artist as well as a discussion about my struggles last year.

My husband bought tickets for the four of us for Van Gogh Alive, an immersive display of the great artist’s works he scheduled two days after I arrive from China. We missed the chance to see it the first time it was shown in the country. We couldn’t pass it up this time since this could be a homeschooling lesson opportunity for our kids as well. The kids are aware that I love Van Gogh a lot. The following photos and clips are just some of many we took while inside the museum. Hope this article can convince you to visit the show as well! It’s worth the money you’ll pay for the tickets, I guarantee you. Enjoy!

This one’s my favorite shot of me by the husband.

In the photo above I had to look away from my husband while he was taking a photo of me candidly so he would’t see the tears on my eyes. Van Gogh has captured my heart as an artist and as a human being. I’ve read about his struggles as an artist and that’s one thing that most of us can possibly relate to. Too see his works get presented like this was truly momentous for me. To be honest, I’d probably go bawling once I see his actual works for real! That’s a dream. Not to bawl but to see his works in person. Haha.

I couldn’t pass up the chance to buy the official program of Van Gogh Alive as this will form part of my collection about the great artist. It contains high resolution color images of his works plus the playlist used during the immersive display. Win!

Here are more clips so you can be enticed to visit as well:

He is also famous for his sunflower artworks. โค

Thank you for reading this far!
